FROM MANILA
1. Bus to Capas, Tarlac:
Departure Points: Major bus terminals in Manila, such as Cubao or Pasay.
Route: Board a bus heading to Capas, Tarlac. Inform the conductor to drop you off at McDonald’s Capas Junction.
Duration: Approximately 2 to 3 hours.
2. Tricycle to Sta. Juliana:
From McDonald’s Capas Junction: Hire a tricycle to take you to the Sta. Juliana jump-off point, the base camp for Mount Pinatubo treks.
Duration: Approximately 30 minutes.
3. 4×4 Ride and Trek:
At Sta. Juliana, you’ll transfer to a 4×4 jeep to navigate lahar paths leading to the trekking point.
After a short ride, embark on a 1 to 1.5-hour trek to reach the Mount Pinatubo crater lake.
